Medical massage is focused on addressing specific pain, injuries, and movement limitations, while relaxation massage is designed primarily to reduce stress, promote relaxation, and provide an overall sense of well-being. Medical massage still addresses stress and relaxation, but I would consider it a byproduct rather than the primary goal.

I always start with a personalized health history intake process to get a good idea of what areas we need to work on as well as short and long term goal setting. Of course we will have body work in the first appointment as well which will be apart of the discovery and information gathering part of the session so following appointments can be more organized and effective.

Of course! Feedback helps me do my job better and If talking helps you relax or being still and silent. I happily accommodate what you need to feel as comfortable as possible.

If you suffered a serious injury in the last 2 weeks, are sick, have any kind of skin infection, if you have a serious burn or sunburn, or If you are not cleared for massage by your primary care physician.

If you’re dealing with ongoing pain, muscle tension, limited mobility, an injury, or a specific area that isn’t functioning the way it should, medical massage may be a good fit.

Any cancelation done less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time without reasonable circumstances are subject to a $50 cancelation fee. Any no call no show are subject to 100% cost of service.
